The Village of Kirkby-in-Furness lies alongside the beautiful Duddon Estuary two miles south of the Lake District National Park. The area offers a stunning variety of running terrains both on and off road. The Duddon Estuary is a place where sky, sea and landscape sweep together to form a fantastic open space waiting to be explored. Try your first barefoot run across the sands and sea washed turf or discover the network of trails, woodland and quiet lanes of the surrounding countryside. Alternatively you can head for the more famous hills of Black Combe and Coniston Old Man. |
