Natural Running Training

Each course is limited to 8 participants to ensure individual attention from the tutors.  The activities will take place in the idyllic La’al Barn, and on location across the Duddon Estuary or on the surrounding fells (depending on the weather).

Running Workshops

Exploring FREEDOM, FORM and FITNESS.

We begin with the Freedom session, an Alexander Technique inspired process to open up and prepare for the next session. The Form session explores running drills and skills. To round out the work session we finish with incorporating the awareness and drill work into a Fitness session, a location run.

We are happy to work with people from all levels of running experience and ability but we do suggest, as a minimum, you can run 5kms in around 30 mins.

Minimalist Shoes: How are we born to run?

A practical course for runners to open up some of the key considerations in developing a more natural running stride.  Find out how to safely transition to some of the increasingly popular minimalist shoes shoes such as Vivo Barefoot and Vibram 5 Fingers.

This is a three hour, short course held at a venue in Lancaster.
